Michels Consulting sprung forth from the minds of two people with over 50 combined years of experience in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Web Development and MIS Consulting.
Aleda Michels has provided consulting support and services for businesses of all shapes and sizes, including web and brochure editing/writing, job descriptions, employee searches, and interviewer training. Her background includes a degree in Human Resources/Organizational Behavior. Aleda also maintains a current California State Teaching Credential.
Daniel Cox was a Captain in the U.S. Army Chemical Corps, with additional postings as an Intelligence Officer, General Staff Officer and Systems Automation Officer. He began computer programming in 1976 and began designing websites in 1996. He founded Virginia Computer Institute upon leaving the Army in 1989 (renamed to Impressive Software in 1997) and merged it with Michels Consulting in 2005. Dan was the Project Manager for the U.S. Army Modernization Training Automation System (AMTAS), lead developer for the Naval Weapons Station's Financial Management Information System (FMIS) and primary designer of VotePro, a web-based 10 million record Voter Registration Demographics program for AMS in Florida. Dan has a BA in Economics and Literature and a MS in Management of Technology.
